My name is Ronnie, and I am currently a Deputy Sheriff. As a law enforcement officer, I give high importance to safety, peace and order, and justice. I believe that everyone has the right to feel safe and protected amidst the increasing cases of crimes, violence, bullying, and other threats around us.

Your safety matters, and, through my website, I aim to educate you on how you can employ everyday tactics to keep yourself safe at all times—whether you’re attending a concert, walking to your car in the parking lot after work, or you’re connected to the Internet. My website is designed to offer useful information, helpful strategies, and relevant resources to make sure that you are equipped with the right knowledge and tools to stay safe online and offline.

My Story

My passion has always been in law enforcement and criminology.

I have been a Deputy for seven years and have contacted multiple victims of numerous crimes. During my time as a Deputy, I have been assigned as a Drone Operator for both the department as well as the S.W.A.T. team, Bomb technician assistant and soon to be attending bomb technician school, as well as a Community/Problem Oriented Policing Deputy. I have conducted over 75 active shooter preparedness in-person trainings as well as completed numerous site security assessments and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) assessments. Having attended the A.L.I.C.E (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate) Institute training and other active shooter training, I am well versed in crisis response strategies, as well as preventive measures and tactical planning when it comes to Active violence and workplace violent events.

As the world quickly shifts to a digital landscape, I was privileged to attend training in cell phone and computer forensics, as well. This helped me expand my knowledge about cybercrime investigation, digital evidence recovery, internet forensics, cryptocurrency investigations, and social media surveillance among many others.

I have earned my professional certification as an operator and analyst for Cellebrite Phone Forensics and as a CPTED practitioner. I have also written numerous warrants for cell phones and have served warrants to entities such as Facebook, Instagram, Apple, Google, and WhatsApp, allowing me to see behind the curtain and see what these organizations collect on their users. To date, I have done numerous investigations that involve analyzing cell phone data and content, as well as understanding the Internet of Things (your Alexa or other smart devices).

To help normal individuals stay safe online and be aware of possible threats and crimes on the Internet, I built this website to offer safety tips, information, and tactics.

In addition to providing valuable resources, I also am going to offer a variety of classes and courses designed to educate people on cybersecurity, online safety practices, and how to protect themselves from digital threats. My upcoming training programs at Everyday Tactics cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced users, ensuring that everyone has the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the digital world safely.

My Vision and Mission

At Everyday Tactics, my vision is to create a safer online environment where individuals of all ages are empowered with the knowledge and skills to protect themselves from digital threats, navigate the internet securely, and respond effectively to real-world emergencies. My goal is to provide resources to promote cybersecurity awareness, online safety, scam protection, and proactive preparedness in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

To be able to achieve this, I will live by my mission to provide comprehensive education and training in online safety, active shooter response, and firearm safety. I will also offer my services in CPTED and site assessments to ensure the best possible steps have been completed to deter or stop threats to the site. Through this website, I offer accessible resources, practical tips, and comprehensive courses designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to stay safe both online and offline.
